Rules and Guidelines for the Turf Arena Sports Park Bi annual Champs

- League format with 10 teams, with each team playing 9 matches each. Ie one game a week. League commences on saturday May 22nd.

- Time limits: 35 mins /half without stoppages and 7 mins for half time

- Matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Each team will play once on saturday or Sunday during the league period.

- Ranking criteria are as follows:

1. Points (More Points)

2. Victory (More Victory)

3. Goal Difference

4. Goal (More Goals)

5. Goals Against

6. Direct confrontation

- All team managers should ensure they and their players download the "Easy Tournament" app, register and search for "Turf Arena 11 aside Mini league" for full details of fixtures, timings and results.

- All participating players should also be given the rules and guidelines by their team management.

- Scheduled teams are to be at the entrance of the pitch for verification ATLEAST 10mins before kick off time. Teams that are not on the pitch and ready for kick off 5mins after the kick off time will forfeit a goal to the opposing team every 10mins past the kick off time. If they still arent on the pitch 20mins into kick off, they will be walked over with the opposing team awarded 3 points and 3goals.

- Fielding of an unregistered player attracts a penalty of 2 points per match. If more than one unregistered player is fielded, an extra 1 point will be deducted per unregistered player.

- Yellow card fines cost N300 and Red card fines cost N1000 all payable before the team's next fixtures. A player that is sent off via 2 yellow cards will miss one game but one that is issued a straight red will miss out 2 games.

Registration

- Teams will register a 23 man player squad as well as 3 man coaches crew. On match days, each team will be allowed with 17players for the match day. During games each team will be allowed a max number of 3 subs.

- Kindly have your full team sheet of 23 players filled out with player positions, jersey numbers, pictures etc by midnight, Friday 21/05/2021 as the tournament regjstration will be locked at that point and you will be unable to add players.

- Only registered people will be allowed onto the pitch to avoid the pitch being rowdy.

- Kindly ensure that players are consistent with the jersey number they use throughout the league to avoid any mix up of identity or penalties.

- Mid way into the league after GW 5, teams will be allowed to transfer / swap 4 players in their squad. But still maintain a 23 player squad.

General conduct

- Note that match days for 2 matches are pegged at 3hrs and for matche days with 3 matches are pegged at 4hrs:30min.

- If there are delays (arguments with Refs, fracas etc) during a match and it affects the match slated duration, such team contributing to the issue MIGHT be fined upto N10,000 and opposing team issued a goal for every 10mins such delay is in effect. If both teams are established by the league organisers to be the cause, the fine will be applied to both teams.

- Teams will obey and Observe all facilities usage guidelines particularly pertaining to warm up and general conduct. It is the team manager/coaches responsibility to ensure that he coordinates and ensures the discipline of his team whilst on the facility.

- Teams are urged to quickly get off the field of play following the end of their game to ensure the next matches are not held back unduly. This would end up disrupting the fixtures as the last games of the day might suffer from darkness.

- Teams should provide their team colours/jersey colours to ensure there are no clash of kits and for alternatives to be arranged where necessary.

- Note that there might be Adjustment in fixture timing or cancelation of fixtures due to incremental weather conditions.

- Subs should be wearing their bibs at all times.

- The refs decision is final.
